ABOUT WHICHYOU

We don't tell you
who you are.

We show you what you kept choosing.

WhichYou is a choice-based personality and reflection experience. Instead of asking you to complete one giant questionnaire, it builds a picture gradually from the X/Y choices you make across different days and situations.

One answer is easy.
A pattern is harder to fake.

How you answer a personality question can depend on your mood, how you want to see yourself, or what you think the “right” answer should be.

WhichYou takes a different approach. You encounter small choices over time. The interesting part is not any single answer — it is what keeps returning.

A pattern starts to appear.

One month.
A series of small choices.

01

A Choice appears

WhichYou publishes X/Y Choices on scheduled Choice days throughout the month.

02

You choose X or Y

Pick the option that fits you in that moment. There is no correct side and no ideal response.

03

Hidden tendencies accumulate

Choices contribute to underlying tendencies such as novelty, stability, connection, autonomy, structure, flexibility, action, and reflection.

04

Your monthly pattern takes shape

WhichYou compares those tendencies with that month's Result Framework and identifies the pattern that fits your recorded choices most strongly.

Not every day.
On purpose.

WhichYou is designed around a limited number of choices spread across the calendar month rather than a daily obligation.

WhichYou publishes 16 official X/Y Choices each month, normally on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday in U.S. time.

That gives each choice room to stand on its own while still creating enough repetition for patterns to emerge.

One month should tell one story.

You may encounter WhichYou on more than one platform, but your official monthly result should not accidentally count the same person multiple times.

Instagram

Instagram can serve as an official source when supported by the connected tracking system.

Y

YouTube

Choices connected to your verified YouTube identity can become your official monthly source.

Choose once for the month.

Once an official tracking source is selected, it remains locked for the rest of that calendar month. A new source can be selected when the next month begins.

Keep the format simple.
Keep the month consistent.

If Instagram or YouTube is your official tracking source, your social comments can become the Choices used for your monthly result. These rules keep those Choices clear and prevent the same month from being counted more than once.

02

Use one official source per month

Choose Instagram, YouTube, or WhichYou.me. Use only that source for the Choices you want counted that month. Your selected source stays locked for the rest of the calendar month, and you can choose again when the next month begins.

03

Start a social comment with X or Y

For the most reliable counting, start your comment with X or Y. Leading spaces are fine, and uppercase or lowercase both count. You can add a reason, emoji, or other text after your choice.

WhichYou may also recognize common explicit formats such as “I choose X,” “Choice Y,” or “Team X,” but starting with X or Y is the recommended format.

DOESN'T COUNTnot Xnever XProbably YXY — I can't decideLove this one!
04

One official Choice per question

If you edit a valid comment, the latest valid X/Y version available before the cutoff is used. If you leave more than one valid top-level comment on the same Choice post, the most recent valid one that still exists before the cutoff is the one that counts.

Replies to other comments do not count as official Choices.

05

You do not need all 16 Choices

WhichYou publishes 16 official Choices each month. Your Monthly Result can begin with just 1 counted Choice. You can answer anywhere from 1 to 16; more Choices give the reading more evidence and context to work with.

06

Missed a post? Go back during the same month

You do not have to answer on the day a Choice is posted. You may go back to earlier official Choice posts from the current month and leave your X/Y before that month's cutoff.

07

The month closes at 11:59 PM ET

Each monthly counting window closes at 11:59 PM Eastern Time on the final day of the calendar month. Comments added or changed after that cutoff belong outside the finalized monthly result.

08

New Choices: Mon / Tue / Thu / Sat

The regular U.S. posting schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, for 16 official Choices per monthly cycle.

WhichYou is not a one-time label.

A single personality quiz can freeze one moment into one answer. WhichYou is built to notice what you choose now, then compare it with what you choose on other days, in other situations, and in later months.

Relationships, work, priorities, confidence, circumstances, and life stage can all change. Your choices can change with them. That is why continuing over time is more useful than treating one result as permanent.

TODAYOne choice captures this moment.
THIS MONTHYour repeated choices form a monthly pattern.
OVER TIMEYou can see what stays consistent and what shifts.

One month shows a pattern. Many months show how that pattern changes.

The answer system can change. Your choices don't have to.

WhichYou does not force every month into one permanent list of personality types.

One month may use six archetypes. Another may use four social patterns, eight gemstone-inspired results, animal archetypes, creative styles, or another themed framework.

Underneath those changing themes, WhichYou can reuse the same underlying choice tendencies. The visible result system interprets them through a different lens.

New theme. New lens. Still built from your choices.

The method behind WhichYou.

We call the WhichYou approachChoice Dynamics. It is the product framework used to organize, compare, and interpret repeated choices over time.

01

Revealed Preference

What people repeatedly choose can reveal something different from what they say they prefer in the abstract.

02

Choice Momentum

Repeated decisions can create visible directional patterns across a sequence of situations.

03

Exploration vs. Exploitation

Some choices favor novelty and experimentation; others favor known, reliable, or stable options.

04

Reversibility

Decisions can feel different depending on whether they seem easy to change or difficult to undo.

05

Feedback & Calibration

Patterns become more useful when new choices can reinforce, weaken, or complicate what appeared earlier.

06

Context Matters

A person may lean differently in work, relationships, risk, comfort, social situations, or unfamiliar environments.

A reflection tool, not a clinical diagnosis.

WhichYou draws inspiration from ideas used in behavioral decision research, including revealed preference, repeated choice, feedback, and decision context.

But WhichYou itself is not a validated psychological test, medical tool, or clinical diagnostic instrument. Its result categories and monthly frameworks are WhichYou product interpretations.

Results are best treated as a way to reflect on your choices, notice recurring tendencies, and enjoy seeing how your pattern changes over time.
