Making your X/Y Choices

How does a WhichYou Choice work?

On a scheduled Choice day, WhichYou presents one situation with two options: X or Y.

Choose the option that fits you best in that moment. There is no correct answer and no option you are expected to choose.

Is there a new Choice every day?

No. WhichYou intentionally does not require a daily answer.

The regular U.S.-time schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, with a maximum of 16 official X/Y Choices in a calendar month.

Some non-Choice days may instead be used for explanations, previews, or other WhichYou content.

Do I need to answer all 16 Choices?

No.

You can receive a Monthly Result with fewer answers. Even one official Choice can begin a result when that month's Result Framework is available.

More choices provide more information for the monthly pattern, but missing a Choice does not invalidate your month.

Can I start in the middle of a month?

Yes.

You do not need to begin on the first day of the month. Start with the Choices that are available after you join. Your result is based on the official choices recorded for you.

Can I change today's choice?

When WhichYou.me allows the current Choice to be edited, selecting the other option updates your saved answer for that Choice.

Your current monthly pattern can therefore change as your official recorded choices change.

How your pattern becomes a result

When do I get a Monthly Result?

Your Monthly Result can begin taking shape once you have at least one official Choice and the Result Framework for that month is available.

You do not have to wait until the end of the month to see a current result.

Can my Monthly Result change during the month?

Yes.

An open month's result is dynamic. As more official choices are added, a different pattern may become your strongest match.

That is intentional. WhichYou is designed to show a pattern developing over time rather than assigning a permanent label after one answer.

What happens when the month ends?

Once a calendar month closes, that month's result can be frozen as part of your WhichYou history.

Future months build their own results rather than rewriting a closed month's result.

Why can the result types change from month to month?

WhichYou uses a monthly Result Framework instead of forcing every month into one permanent set of visible personality types.

One month might use six archetypes. Another might use animals, gemstones, social patterns, creative styles, or a different themed system.

The theme changes the lens through which your choices are interpreted.

What if two result patterns are very close?

Your Monthly Result shows the pattern with the strongest fit under that month's Result Framework.

Other nearby patterns may also appear when they are relevant. A WhichYou result does not mean every one of your choices fits only one category.

Which choices count?

What is an Official Tracking Source?

Your Official Tracking Source tells WhichYou which set of choices should count toward your result for that calendar month.

WhichYou is designed around three source types: WhichYou.me, Instagram, and YouTube.

A social source must be connected and available before it can be selected.

Why can I choose only one source?

Using one official source prevents the same person from accidentally combining or duplicating answers made across different platforms.

Your monthly result is therefore built from one consistent choice history.

Can I change my Official Tracking Source during the month?

No.

Once you select an Official Tracking Source, it is locked for the remainder of that calendar month.

When a new month begins, you can select the source you want to use for the new month.

Can I still follow WhichYou on another platform?

Yes.

Your Official Tracking Source only determines which choices count toward your monthly result. It does not prevent you from viewing WhichYou content elsewhere.

Why can't I select Instagram or YouTube?

A social source must be successfully connected to your WhichYou account before it can be used as an Official Tracking Source.

Source availability may also depend on whether the required platform connection is currently supported. Your Account page shows the sources currently available to you.

Saving your WhichYou

Do I need an account to make a Choice?

You can begin making supported web choices without first creating an account.

WhichYou can use a browser-based anonymous identity to keep those choices together on that device.

What happens to anonymous choices when I create an account?

When supported anonymous choices exist on the same device, WhichYou can connect those choices to your account after you sign up or sign in.

Why should I create an account?

An account gives WhichYou a persistent identity for features such as Official Tracking Source selection, account-connected Choice History, social connections, Monthly Results, and future subscription access.

Where can I see the choices that count for this month?

OpenMy WhichYouto see your current official Choice History.

The page also shows which tracking source is being used for the month.

What information does WhichYou store?

WhichYou needs information required to operate features you use, such as account information, saved choices, monthly source selections, and supported connected-account data.

The detailed rules governing collection, use, retention, and your rights will be described in thePrivacy Policy.

What WhichYou means

Is WhichYou a scientific personality test?

No.

WhichYou is not a validated psychological test, medical tool, or clinical diagnostic instrument.

It is a choice-based reflection and entertainment experience that interprets patterns in the choices recorded through WhichYou.

What is Choice Dynamics?

Choice Dynamics is the name of WhichYou's product framework for organizing and interpreting repeated choices over time.

It draws inspiration from ideas associated with decision behavior, including revealed preference, repeated choice, exploration versus exploitation, reversibility, feedback, and decision context.

Choice Dynamics itself should not be interpreted as a validated psychological assessment system.

Does my result define my personality?

No.

A WhichYou result describes how your recorded choices fit a particular Result Framework.

It is not intended to declare a permanent identity. Different contexts and different months can produce different patterns.

Why use repeated choices instead of one long test?

WhichYou is designed around the idea that choices made across different moments can reveal a more interesting pattern than one concentrated questionnaire.

That does not make the result objectively “more accurate” than a validated assessment. It is simply the core design of the WhichYou experience.
